Brief Bio:

Personal: I am happily enjoying new motherhood after giving birth to my son Baylor in September 2009.

Education: I received my Master's of Science in Art Education from the Massachusetts College of Art in 2008. I graduated from Georgetown University in Washington DC, in 2001, with a double major in Psychology and Studio Art. During my time in Georgetown, I spent a semester at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Awards: My students have won several Regional and National Scholastic Art and Writing Awards in drawing, painting, and mixed media. I have also been honored with the Weston Educational Enrichment Fund Committee Star Award for outstanding service and dedication to students of Weston public schools in 2012.

Teaching Experience: I teach clay, drawing, painting, mixed media, and basic photography classes at Weston High School since 2005. Prior to my work at Weston, I was a teaching assistant at the Boston Arts Academy, where I taught figure drawing to 9th through 11th grades.

Sports: I was an All-Academic member of the Georgetown tennis team. I continue to play, and coached the Varsity tennis coach for Weston High School in 2008 and 2009 until I gave birth to my son. In addition to tennis, I am active in intramural soccer leagues and enjoy kickboxing and crossfit.
